2013 Touch a Truck Event

This event is put on every year by Mothercraft to raise money to educate mothers and families.
This is the 6th year for this event and it gets bigger every year. We here at Gervais Towing have supported them from the start.

The Gervais family feels that it is very important to give back to our community. Having always lived in Ottawa we feel that we should give back to the city and the people who helped us grow into the business we are today.

Our trucks and employees are always involved in the many parades in the city. These are donated to help with the enjoyment of the people. Our trucks are always in all the Santa Clause parades, St. Patrick’s Day parade and many others.

We have two antique tow trucks that we donate to be in many parades and local charity events.

Every year we supply trucks to Touch a Truck. This Mothercraft group helps Ottawa families who are in need. Children love this event as they line up to sit in one of our trucks and blow the big horn.

Gervais Towing is proud to support other organizations including MADD, Muscular Dystrophy, Breast Cancer Foundation, Women for Mental Health, United Way, Citizen’s Advocacy, Canadian Association of Police Chief’s, Sheppard of Good Hope, Snowsuit Fund, CHEO, Police Association of Ontario, Ottawa Safety Council, National Wall of Remembrance, Room to Read and many more deserving groups.

We also support schools with Drinking and Driving campaigns by supplying wrecked vehicles for their demonstrations. There is nothing like seeing a wrecked car to bring home the point what could happen when you drive drunk.

Gervais Towing also support many sports and teams in the Ottawa area.
